Easter 2026 Payment Dates: State Pension and DWP Benefits Schedule Confirmed

This year, Easter Sunday falls on April 5, leading to changes in scheduled benefit payments across the UK. Due to the bank holiday weekend, payments that were originally due on Good Friday or Easter Monday will now be issued earlier. The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC), and Social Security Scotland have confirmed that payments expected on Friday, April 3, or Monday, April 6, will instead be paid on Thursday, April 2. This temporary adjustment ensures that claimants receive their funds without delays during the holiday period.
